The client needed to bridge the gap between heavy AI model inference (LLMs and Artwork Recognition) and a high-traffic social ecosystem. Traditional architectures struggled to handle the high-pressure data flows required for real-time social interaction while simultaneously processing complex AI-driven artwork analysis.

Strategy

The Objective

The primary objective was to architect a foundation that could treat AI models as first-class citizens within a social network. This required building a system capable of managing Enterprise AI scale - where artwork recognition, sentiment analysis, and LLM-driven social features could operate concurrently without degrading the user experience for millions of users across the USA and EU.
Implementation

Technical Execution

I designed a multi-vendor, multi-protocol architecture anchored by a Medallion ETL pipeline. By leveraging Azure Data Factory, we established a systematic flow that transitioned data from raw Bronze ingestion to Gold curated sets ready for AI consumption. We utilized a microservices mesh to decouple long-running AI inference tasks from the real-time social feed, ensuring that artwork recognition remained responsive even during peak traffic loads. I also spearheaded a robust CI/CD strategy that allowed Data Science teams to push model updates independently of the core platform services.
Results

Business Impact

The deployment successfully transformed the startup’s capabilities, resulting in a seamless blend of social engagement and intelligent artwork curation. By establishing a Systematic Data approach, we moved away from ad-hoc processing and toward a scalable infrastructure that significantly reduced the time-to-market for new AI features. The platform now supports high-fidelity artwork recognition and complex social interactions with near-zero friction for the end-user.
