This meant moving away from paper-heavy, siloed processes toward a unified digital ledger that could survive the rigors of international financial regulations and high-pressure transaction windows.

Technical Execution
I led the technical execution by implementing an Onion Architecture to ensure that the complex business rules of trade finance were not poisoned by the volatile nature of external banking APIs and blockchain protocols. By using C# and Web APIs for the interface and RabbitMQ for resilient messaging, we ensured that even if a sub-system failed, the transaction state remained intact. I oversaw the entire lifecycle, ensuring that the Distributed Ledger principles were applied where they added value-specifically for immutability and provenance-while maintaining high performance for the core application.
